Free Education For All

The Pandemic has hit us hard. We stay inside our homes doing online meetings, classes, playing online games like Call of Duty, Ludo, Valorant etc. But you know there is still a section of society where even the basic things are not present, where people are still using that keypad Nokia cellphones which don’t even have internet facilities. These areas are common in our country. For example, India’s largest slum, Dharavi, Bhalswa Village, is the largest slum in our National Capital. We are suffering nothing in comparison to the suffering of the people of the slums.

Education is one of the basic rights of our country, but in reality, people in slums are very likely to be able to go to school. There are a lot of NGOs in Delhi who are working for people selflessly to make them happy and educated. In this cause, I can assure you and introduce you to a great organization who is trying to help people without any benefit and people happily volunteer them in their Nobel cause. So, to tackle this social backwardness, some people have come forward with the vision of education for all and free education for all and started this NGO called Pechaan The Street School. This is a 6-year-old organization that has created many bright futures for our country, crossing the borders of these slums and making their and their families’ names. This NGO basically operates in Delhi but they also have their centers in Noida and Dehradun too. So, let’s have some talk about Every weekend, these guys go to nearby slums and teach underprivileged children in slums. Give them chocolates, bring them stationaries, books etc. and ensure that their studies should not be stopped. Nowadays, because of Corona, it is impossible for them to go and teach them physically, so they all switched to online mode for the sake of their students, but the problem was that most of their students didn’t have smartphones in their house, so to address this issue, The NGO started smartphone donation drives and asked people to donate their useless smartphones.

They have decided to encourage more people to join them in their great cause, as it is everyone’s right to receive a basic education, but nowadays, people don’t care about the poor, and most schools are only interested in making money and gaining fame. So, it is our responsibility not to forget these people and to lend a helping hand to them, to make them feel as if they are not alone. We are with them at Pechaan The Street School, so why are you waiting to remind them of your responsibilities and to take a pledge to help the needy with us?
